So.. knowing Black Rock City’s layout really helps when wandering around all the virtual 2020 worlds. Get to the Man, the Temple or Center Camp and you can navigate the Multiverse. Funny how this was the theme for the time of COVID. Or was it anticipated? Dunno. Most likely but no one realized it. It just came together. That’s how things seem to work out with the big gods and their party each year so yea, rolling with it.
I rebooted my 15 years ago Second Life avatar, joined MineCraft and downloaded the Multiverse app. First night out there (I was in Burn2 SL last night but had to buy things to wear because second life and shopping with the Linden dollars) and I built a few things in Minecraft with Michael Wertz (yes WERQ is there) .. and tonight kind of checking out the virtual playa on those two and the Multiverse app. I love the Multiverse App. Hoverboards are cool you can cruise the playa faster than walking, closer to the electric bike. Mayan Warrior with same tunes.. the Man with intermittent fireworks. Lots of folks up there. Planet Earth is streaming on Twitch as is Bootie. Spent the weekend at our bar with Adriana and Jupiter Bootie Mashup on Twitch, great time. Took some pics of my three current Multiverse realities so check them out.
The Infinite playa hasn’t opened yet and the BURNVrc or whatever where the cool kids are is some how not MacOS compatible so I’m hanging a couple days to see if that happens or if I need to install a VM. Strange times indeed.
