ok peeps. Mac OS AltspaceVR BRC works. https://altvr.com/altspacevr-mac/ Download it, yes you have to click through the Apple warnings. create your avatar and take the short tutorial. But it’s pretty cool. I did a solo run through and landed in Center camp then made my walk, the one I do after acclimating at camp and I took in the Keyhole, went up to the platform in First Camp, checked our Tech Camp and the ARTery — Artery needs a sign! Then I went out and hung at the Man base, met a person and had a conversation then friended them, ended up in some weird meditation camp where people were talking about Facebook because.. tech.. I don’t have goggles yet but it’s interesting and really easy to navigate because it’s Black Rock City. The sun set and it popped just like the playa. There’s a ton of weird shit to check out and I haven’t seen any of it. Get in here and let’s hang out. I’m not going to post too much until you get out there.. but here are some midday and sunset shots.

Wete you able to teleport? I couldn’t get that to work. Just walk/run.

teleport you click and it opens up a modal where you teleport. You can walk through just about anything I think. Also set Fly in settings to on and use Shift to go faster. I’m pre-Oculus obviously. 🙂

John Mosbaugh I disvovered flying and running. But it said left mouse click to teleport, that does nothing. Did discover space opens some quick controls including mute though.

Neonbunny Lapine oooohh, that’s good to know about the space bar. I did find today that cmd-shift-T toggles your mute status.

Sadly my computer can’t handle going fun places. I got to the Black Hole Bar twice but then my system craps out. Edit: it’s funny because I’m still using the Mac BM gave me when I left the office. 😜

Yea I was having some issues but luckily was able to stick around for quite a while. If I did anything with bluetooth like adjust my air pods it would crash.
